Laufskalarett in Hjaltadal is the most popular horse corral in the land; every year it hosts a total of three thousand guests. The Laufskalarett weekend begins on Friday night with lots of fun in the riding hall at Svadastodum. On Saturday, after they''ve been herded out of Kolbeins valley, the horses are corralled, and at night there is a popular dance party. Laufskalarett happens on the last weekend in September.
